Door handle color on Black car

Door handle color on Black car
I noticed that my door handles are a metallic black paint, not the same as the solid black color the body is. Is this the way it is on others that have a black C class?

Thanks for the thread link. I thought my car was a freak. Interesting thread also. I did not realize these cars were made in South Africa as well as Germany. My father used to run a company that was an automotive supplier for interiors to the big three in Michigan. I had a summer job were I would go do rework which was in factory customizing parts that were not quite right or changing them out after the car was built to avoid slowing down production. It was an amazing job. I was able to run around Dearborn Assembly where they were building Mustangs and made $30/hour which was amazing money at the time. Considering the number of cars that have this and the period of time it has occured over, it must be by design for some reason. The difference is not too bad, but I would rather have them match.

Obsidian Black door handles on Black cars...and yet they still haven't figured out how to paint the Radio Antenna fin any colors except Black and Silver lol.
I think the general idea here is that the Obsidian Black paint color would hide the wear and tear scratches that the regular Black color gets.

Hmmm, I noticed the difference on my flat black C300 and just shot a complaint by email to my dealer but now see here it's "normal". In bright sunshine it's quite apparent and when I notice it it bothers me... Let's see what the stealership says. If they don't do anything about it it's not the end of the world, but it would be nice if the door handles matched...
