But, take that idea and make a more conventional pattern and I am very interested...been holding off tinting because I do not want any loss of light output. Vendor, are you listening?!?!

True, but if it were just solid blocks of red, white, amber LEDS from behind a darkened lens, it would be very nice. Of course, they would need to put out a good amount of light, especially the white, which have to project, and not just be conspicuous.

I would like to see what it actually looks like on the car. It's hard to imagine just by looking at the part. Anyone have any pictures?

ya i REALLY would like a nice aftermarket LED tail light that looked OEM... I hate how just my turn signals are LEDS on my c350 i really would like a full LED light... old school bulbs just look so dated...
somebody buy these so you can take pics and put on an actual car so we can get a better idea of looks!

This one has potential to be really great:

Clear and colorless when off to blend into the car's design and color...the next generation beyond tinting.
But, this awful pattern has to be changed into solid blocks/bands....not this maze of tiny lines...looks like a child's toy when it lights up.
I wrote to Dectane and told them I wanted to know when they "fix" the LED design, and I would be very interested in purchasing. If I hear anything, I'll pass it along.
