TeleAid Aftermarket?
I recently got stuck at the mall because I put my key in the trunk and when I closed the trunklid I got the horrid 3 beeps to indicate locking. So I was stuck and called roadside assistance, she mentioned if I had TeleAid installed in my vehicle she could remote unlock. Otherwise, I would have to pay $300 for a technician to come and "break into" my car. I opted for convincing my girlfriend to drive 30 minutes to bring me my spare...
But it got me thinking, if I can retrofit the Command system into the w204, can I retrofit the TeleAid system as well? Furthermore, can I get the search & send features if I pay available on the 2010? P.S. Yes, I know, I should have just gotten these features from the factory, but I was off-lease at a bad time and all they had were two 2009 C-classes, one loaded purplish/blue one, and my white one with P1... |
I inquired at my dealership about getting tele-aid added to my car when it came in but they said it was so integrated into the cars systems that it wasn't a realistic option to add after the car has been built. :nix:

Same story with Sirius, they just don't want to do it.
