Count me in. :]

Topchef2b 05-18-2010 12:21 AM

Well , count me in as well. I agreed with Mike, the Blesk ones are still holding very well for me...

jaeguyoon 05-18-2010 01:58 AM

definitely interested

Azn_C300 05-18-2010 02:05 AM

Just pulled the LED out and so far, looks good. Gonna give it another week of normal driving before I have any more confidence in it.

snarlingchicken 05-18-2010 03:15 AM

How are you going about testing the LEDs? Are you driving around with the parking lights on all the time?

Andystyle 05-18-2010 11:07 AM

Sounds promising am still running ctgilles 90deg led's working good so far except for minor flickering...Count me in for an upgrade if things work out.

basically. Figured more hours logged with them on would be a fair endurance test so have them on day and night.

kevinwithdabenz 05-19-2010 12:55 AM

no pics yet sir ?

Azn_C300 05-19-2010 01:32 AM

sorry, been busy and forgot my camera during that friday meet. I'll see about getting some tomorrow night.

phranksmbz 05-19-2010 01:37 AM

These also have that tint of blue huh? i wish we could make the eyelids pure white.

Azn_C300 05-19-2010 02:40 AM

No, these don't have blue tint. These are white.

phranksmbz 05-19-2010 04:24 AM

but i thought the housing is what made the light appear a bit bluish, correct?

kevinwithdabenz 05-19-2010 02:35 PM

aaaaaaight cant wait for the pics. ;D

Boris0126 05-19-2010 06:14 PM

Count me in for a GB and waiting for pics? Thanks Mike

Azn_C300 05-20-2010 02:19 AM

Ok, took a few quick shots with my Nikon D90 so hope you can get a good idea. To my real life eye, they look white and should match up nicely to stock xenon up to 6000k. You can see the contrast from the sidemarker which are the 8000K blesk lights which aren't quite as blue/purple as that in live view, but gives you a decent comparison.

Although phranksmbz is right that the nature of the lens does cast a bluish tint, these LEDs output enough lumens to mostly negate that characteristic.

snarlingchicken 05-20-2010 02:23 AM

They. Look. Beautiful. :O Please let this be our solution.

Royce118 05-20-2010 06:25 AM

Gosh I hope this would look. Pics looks very promising...

xxnonamexx 05-20-2010 07:28 AM

count me in if you do a group but. Thanks looks awesome. I guess so far no flickering or any other issues?

Spec_Davis 05-20-2010 10:29 AM

let me know if a GB is going to be started

Azn_C300 05-20-2010 12:13 PM

No flickering from what I've observed. Basically just waiting on completion of my endurance test. I'll take pics of the LEDs after a week+ of normal driving so you can see the condition of the LED. I haven't pulled them out yet so no idea what their state is currently lol. Probably by monday.

Krytech 05-20-2010 02:26 PM

Looks promising. :y

I'm curious how much brighter they are than the polarg bulbs. Are they visible outside in the daylight? That would be the ultimate! :D

MB_AMG 05-20-2010 02:36 PM

I am in if this happens

louiet3 05-20-2010 02:44 PM

I'm in as well.

tehc300 05-20-2010 02:53 PM

in for 6 when available. :)

xxnonamexx 05-20-2010 03:17 PM

Definately would like to see what the socket looks like especially any heat issues. DO they go in the socket easy.

Thanks
