possible, can get in via bluetooth or so, but at this stage now the firmware r quite dead secure, unless its written by microsoft or a common platform :P or someone really wants u dead needs to spend sometime developing this hack

This assumes that someone has inserted a BT OBD-II transmitter at the OBD port. Then one can do many of those settings a diagnosis tool could do. A detail the article should have made more clear. Obviously they are more after publicity than revealing the details.
