Quick question....what color would you all prefer for turn signals? White, Red, or Yellow?

TB5... 07-06-2010 11:33 AM

kevinwithdabenz 07-06-2010 12:32 PM

SCguy08 07-06-2010 12:41 PM

Robbio204 07-06-2010 12:59 PM

snarlingchicken 07-06-2010 01:06 PM

Yellow so I don't get pulled over in Socal >_>

Are we talking about front signals or rear??

If front, I would like yellow to match the color of the signals in the side mirrors.

Red LED brake lights and white reverse light would be cool in the rear to go with my existing LED turn signals back there.

+1 I like his thinking. I want the yellow to match the side mirror LED. And would LOVE white reverse light LEDs. As well as rear LED (where did you get yours from) Not to important to get led brake lights for me, probably wouldn't work well in P1 housings anyway.

blue-ish (8000k) same as the last group buy! :)

dynomite05 07-06-2010 01:58 PM

White..lol

aowhaus 07-06-2010 02:00 PM

I also would like to get yellow front LED turn signals.

I would to see bright yellow, not amber.

by front turning signals
do u mean the fog light?

FCSmthree 07-06-2010 02:23 PM

Looking for LED turn signals for my W211, wonder if the turn signals are the same type in the W204s :nix:

Can anyone take a pic of your turn signal bulb or confirm that theyre the same as the W211 if you got both cars? :naughty:

At any rate, would like to see the stock yellow/amber color to match the LED signals on the side mirror.....

FYI, can't speak for all states, but california, you rear turn signal can be yellow or red. Your fronts can be yellow or white.

My rear LED is just the red turn signals that came with the P2 package on my '08.

I'd like to try LEDs for the parking light, brake light and maybe even the reverse lights. I've seen compatible ones on ebay but haven't taken the plunge to test them yet.

I like the immediate on/off that the LED offer over traditional filament bulbs. I'm less interested in seeing the individual LED bulbs. But I am concerned that if I simply install the socket compatible LED bulbs, you'd be able to see the actual LED pieces light up on the bulb. (hope that makes sense. kinda like the new AZN eyelid bulbs - they are so bright that you can clearly see the light source within the eyelid)

Front turn signals can be white in California? Really? I didn't know that....

Normandie4life 07-06-2010 11:01 PM

in socal it can be white and orange not blue or red

That's what I was trying to convey. I have seen LED's in the rear brake/parking lights. It looks even worse then the eyelids as the taillight housing are built for total internal reflection, it doens't even fill up the housing with light and is kinda dark. I would only suggest doing LED in reverse lights and turn signals, not the brake lights or running lights in the tail lights, unless you buy those specific p2 taillights.
