LED turn signals
hey guys, i wanted to change my turn signals to LEDz i got some from ebay but it wont turn on, does a nyone know any brand that doesnt give errors and works?
Working on it bro. ;)
Definitely would be interested in some.
Quick question....what color would you all prefer for turn signals? White, Red, or Yellow?
DUNNO WHO YOU'RE ASKING BUT I WILL ANSWER IN EITHER CASE... LOL
IM TRYIN TO STAY LEGAL SO YELLOW! |
i think red would be illegal inNY so im gunna say white
Yeah I'd hafta say yellow..def be interested in yellow ones for the front..
Ill get some yellows too
Yellow so I don't get pulled over in Socal >_>
Are we talking about front signals or rear??
If front, I would like yellow to match the color of the signals in the side mirrors. Red LED brake lights and white reverse light would be cool in the rear to go with my existing LED turn signals back there. |

Looking for LED turn signals for my W211, wonder if the turn signals are the same type in the W204s :nix:
Can anyone take a pic of your turn signal bulb or confirm that theyre the same as the W211 if you got both cars? :naughty: At any rate, would like to see the stock yellow/amber color to match the LED signals on the side mirror..... |
FYI, can't speak for all states, but california, you rear turn signal can be yellow or red. Your fronts can be yellow or white.

+1 I like his thinking. I want the yellow to match the side mirror LED. And would LOVE white reverse light LEDs. As well as rear LED (where did you get yours from) Not to important to get led brake lights for me, probably wouldn't work well in P1 housings anyway.
I'd like to try LEDs for the parking light, brake light and maybe even the reverse lights. I've seen compatible ones on ebay but haven't taken the plunge to test them yet. I like the immediate on/off that the LED offer over traditional filament bulbs. I'm less interested in seeing the individual LED bulbs. But I am concerned that if I simply install the socket compatible LED bulbs, you'd be able to see the actual LED pieces light up on the bulb. (hope that makes sense. kinda like the new AZN eyelid bulbs - they are so bright that you can clearly see the light source within the eyelid) |
Front turn signals can be white in California? Really? I didn't know that....
in socal it can be white and orange not blue or red

My rear LED is just the red turn signals that came with the P2 package on my '08.
