How does Eibach ride?

I am looking at dropping my car just about 1 inch. Cause I just want to eliminate the wheel gap. I plan on getting some wheels after Christmas. I promised my wife I would wait. I looked at KW coilovers. And I can't justify spending that much on a suspension that I will never use for its purpose. The car is a daily driver. And I have no intentions of racing this car or driving it hard. So basically just want the look but want to keep most of my comfort. I know H&R always run hard. So Eibach or Barbus look like my only choices. Brabus for springs are extremely expensive and I don't think I can convince the wife that its worth the money. So how do the Eibach springs ride?

There is lots of information in this forum if you search for it.

I have the Eibach springs (and sway bars) and the springs give about the same ride as stock. Any decrease in ride quailty is barely noticable. But you won't get a 1" drop from Eibach if you have a Sport model. All the lowering numbers are based off a Luxury model which sit about 1/2" higher. If you have a 4-matic then I think you're sitting even lower yet by 1/8 or 1/4" than I was with my RWD model.

I measured a 10-13mm of drop all around after they settled.

If you really want a 1" drop, you'll probably need H&R SuperSports or coilovers. :nix:
