I decided to paint the grille black.
I know there is one in San Gabriel,ca that AZN300 have recommended, but I was wondering if there is one near OC. Fullerton to Irvine range.

Also, for people who have painted their grilles before,
how long does it take? and can I drive home installed same day?

I painted mine myself. I followed the DIY and purchased the same paint. It came out nice but it started chipping right away. I mean within the month. I will be purchasing another grill and try painting it differently, maybe with better paint.

dont paint the oem grill just buy one off of ebay especially if your gonna paint it black they go for like a 100 bux... i regret painting my oem

very true, I should of probably just bought it off ebay. Just spent about $80 on another oem one. Now I have two, one being painted black. W.e tho, nothing like having an oem grille.

I was going to paint the silver part with black and put CF overlay. There is going to be round part where the star is. I don't want it to look silver so was going to paint it black and put CF over. I will keep chrome part as no paint. How much is OEM grille cost for w204

I just found out in ebay they sell matt black grille picture above for reseaonable price. I think I will get one, and maybe cf vinyl wrap it. Anyone has picture of CF of the picture above?(posted by e-92 lighting)

AZN Optics

A-1 Autobody in Placentia does pretty good paint work. You can also take it to HMS in Huntington or Hyevon huntington as they have bodyshop hookups they work with.
