front bumper lower lip...SMH
Let's just say after what seemed to be a great day in SF City Hall celebrating the Giants world series win, my day quickly turned sour after a bonehead incident. I ended up with what you see in the attached pic
I'm already chalking it up to a new front bumper. Whats a ballpark of what I should expect estimate wise? Around 2k?

Not yet. I'm hoping the heat gun will do the trick but those scrapes are pretty deep. I only got one estimate this evening at $1700 for a full replacement over the phone, but I'll probably start making rounds tomorrow.

bro i feel the pain.
i scratched mine two months ago. long story short got too close to the curb. the rim was scratched and the tire was damaged beyond repair.
i found a guy that does rims for 50 buck. got it fixed. replaced the tire with the same stock model which by the way are too expensive. the whole thing was like 250. fixed
so far 300 buck.
well my front bumper was deeply scratched from the bottom and bottom side. its also a few millimeters off from the fender. I AM VERY UPSET STILL
STILL NOT fixed.
i got estimates from 350.00 to 1200.00 to get it fixed
hopefully soon i'll get it fixed by a decent place with a decent in between price.

@dgghostkilla...yeah, i get pretty sad everytime i go into the garage and pass by the damage. i was getting estimates in the 1300-1500 area by a few other body shops for a full replacement as the bump is too deep to repair. luckily my girlfriend's personal trainer actually owns one of the yelp top rated body shops in san jose, ca specializing only in european and exotic cars and got word that he'll do the job for 1100...not too freakin bad at all considering one other body shop was really ambitious in telling me they could repair it for 950. gonna take it in on monday and am looking at about 2-3 days without my baby.
