Sharing my side project car....

Locals will already know about her, but thought I'd share. This has been my second project car I've been working on. BMW 745Li. Full 6-piece Prior Design body kit. AC Schnitzer roof and rear spoiler. 22" DPE SP-16 wheels. KW V3 coilovers. Custom split exhaust. And some other minor mods here and there. Kit's pretty aggressive I know.... along the lines of a Rieger kit, but I like it. I actually had it slammed all the way down and loved the look, but she's a big girl and scrapes her belly, so had to raise her back up. :( The side decal banners are photoshopped on FYI. These pics were taken for print advertisement when the Prior owners flew in from Germany for SEMA.

Your 645li Looks sick, I love that Aero front bumper, I love BMW's but lately I had so much bad luck with BMW's my 545i every month was at the dealer for all kind of issues, my 135 was a lemon and had to get my lawyer involve, the best one I had was my 98 M3 and I regret that I sold it

Painted. It's not really as dark as the pics show, but it was getting to around night when we took those pics. They're the same medium tinted cherry/cranberry shade as my C.

ZeroSeVen 12-17-2010 06:08 PM

Looks aggressive but tastefully done:y

yeah I can see it scraping if you lower it by an inch more

Love it! Pics taken at Fashion Island?

Glad you stayed away from taking pics of this beauty in front of some ghetto alley w/ trash cans. Love the palm trees.

HOLLLA!

Blazeitup123 12-17-2010 10:04 PM

Very nice! but too heat score.

I am in absolute love with that front bumper. I can't believe how it makes this car look brand new and hides its age. The side skirts are a bit too ricer-ish for my taste and I could live with the rear bumper, although I'm not crazy about how it looks agressive on the sides and bland in the middle.

However, the tinted tails, spoilers, exhaust tips, roof wrap and blacked out emblems are sex. Another job well done!

Any mods done to the interior?

bigigg 12-17-2010 10:55 PM

wow.. theres alot going on there. i like the front bumper and wheels. overall i think its just way too aggressive for a 7 series. its definitely a head turner. good luck with it mike!

Spec_Davis 12-18-2010 12:14 AM

I like what you did w the car but if it was mine I would do a VIP look the reason why it is a big car and very luxurious.

alexlev 12-18-2010 12:30 AM

You mentioned having a 7 series, as well as posted a picture, a few months back and I was completely surprised. You shouldn't have kept this car p0rn from us for so long... The car looks absolutely beast.

Personally, just as Davis said, I would have went with a VIP look, but regardless your car holds its own.

TB5... 12-18-2010 12:39 AM

that car is on boss status!

nice work on it maaangg...

never liked the headlights on the 7 though... photoshopped some smoked eyelids and also a smoked outline around the headlight... but didn't look that great...

the car is too damn big though. need to get a driver if i get that whip.

EASYDOES1T 12-18-2010 12:39 AM

:naughty:

Sooooooo nice

AZN Optics 12-18-2010 03:09 AM

Yeah, it's a very aggressive look and I was hesitant. I was considering going VIP, but when Prior Design stepped up with sponsorship, I decided what the heck, try something unique and I've never seen anyone try to make a 7 aggressive (asides from the IForged molded AC Schnitzer 745Li). Only going to keep her for a few more years anyways....already have my eye on the GTI-R coming out as my next potential project car :D

Looks like third pic got messed up and can't edit post anymore:

I really should bite the bullet and do that mod......Is it a 1 day turn-around at Promax? When I asked them to paint my front grille they said it would be three days.... :X I should shoot Anthony another email...

It really depends on when you ask and how busy they get. If you asked anytime leading up to SEMA, good luck lol. It really should be 1 day turn-around normally though.

snarlingchicken 12-18-2010 03:55 AM

It was mid-november...so it was after :/ But the shop was swamped when I went. Maybe they were just packed. I think I'll hold off on tails though until I get John to do my vinyl roof.
