X-mas mods!
Girlfriend ordered the obx headers I have been keeping a tab on lately! Gunna get them on this week most likely. The quality seems pretty good, welds seems consistent and well done.

I'm at work right now but need to stop and pick up some ceramic paint before putting these suckers on. I'm so stocked for these to go on! Then k&n filter this week and finish it with a tune later in the month!

They come with 2 options out of the box, direct bolt on to the cats or a downpipe to replace the pipe which requires welding, I'd like to help the environment out and keep the cats on :P

I have to wait any way I'll do it on next weeks paycheck . Can't wait to hear about installation and everything . I have had my eye on these for two months but didn't pull trigger as I wanted someone to review them . Do you know what the gains are ?

Yah I think everyone was watching and waiting on them lol, gains should be 20-30hp, im thinking 30 as i have x-pipe, and no mufflers for a lot better flow but who knows maybe it will be a steady 20hp.

How much does something like this cost? I wonder how that totally free flowing/open exhaust will sound on a 3.5.
Do you have any sound pics of your current no-muffler setup? I kind of cringe at the thought of how that will sound, but would be really interested to hear the real deal.
Agreed about the dyno runs as well. Would be a good thing for you, to see what all your mods have really given you.

I have a few clips alrdy posted in a past thread. Just search my name for now, I'll repost them when I'm home. I might have the headers on tonight if i can find some high temp paint to cover them in. Don't want chp popping my hood and seeing bright SS headers lol

Im in the process of installing the headers, taking off the OEM ones is a PITA if you dont have a lift and if ur cars dirty :p should have them on tonight tho. And I was wrong about the 2 options, the headers require welding, and to cut out the first cat. So im going ahead with them anyways!

Ok so I got 1 header on tonight, other will be put on tomorrow morning. i used the old gaskets (if you consider 2years old) since the obx ones didn't look to good, and obx gaskets always have bad reviews.
