I need some quick advice...I'm planning to lower (just to fill the gap) with the following setup:

2012 C350 4Matic

19x8 +45 with 235/35/19 Michelin PSS tire (front) installed
19x9 +45 with 265/30/19 Michelin PSS tire (rears) installed

Now do I.....
Get H&R Sport Springs with 5mm pads? or
Get H&R Super Sport Springs with stock pads?

Will I rub more with one or the other?

It will fit in the rear but not the front.

The wheels are too wide for that offset. I'm running ET42 on 9.5" in the back (265/30). I'm lowered on H&R SS though and I do scrape on dips or with it loaded. Even if you don't have yours lowered it will look stupid as they will poke.

Just got the new shoes on:

18x8.5 and 18x9.5 reps
275/35/18 rear, 225/40/18 front

I originally planned to go with 235's on the front to match the square shouldered look of the rears (I'm not at all into stretch) since I won't be lowering it. However, when I rechecked my order, it appeared as though I had 18x8.0 instead of 8.5's coming for the front, and I didn't want to put too much tire on that width. When the wheels arrived, they were indeed 8.5's, so I could have, and probably should have, gone with the 235's. I guess I'll give it a bit and see if they grow on me.

Those offsets seem too low for those widths. I run an 8.5 up front, and the 45 offset is somewhat close to flush. I run a 9.5 in the rear, and the 45 offset on those IS flush. Seems you might be poking quite a bit with that setup.

Those will not fit. For a 10.5" wide rear you will need a +55 or higher to be flush with the fender. and as for a 9" wide in the front in the +32 you will have major poke also. You need to go with a 8.5" wide in the front with a +35 or higher to fit flush

Thanks. I have a C63 AMG diffuser and quad exhaust setup now to complete the look.. I have some much nicer pics on a thread from my photoshoot if you want to see more and much better quality pics. These pics I posted here are cell phone and dont show the true color of the wheels.

This is just a second opinion, but yes those should fit your car with no issues. They are a popular wheel size for the w204.

2012 C250 4matic
Hello from Montreal....

Just purchased a 2012 C250 4matic (sport package) and been spending the last week cruzing the site, so not that familiar with wheel sizing & offsets I thought it would be time to ask the community for an opinion.

I have a chance to get a set AMG replicas 18x8 et45 at an amazing price ($300 Cdn) and would like to know what tire size would be the best.

I know that I would be giving up staggering the wheels but at that price, I thought it might be worth it.

Thanks.

Could you let me know what offset did you go with and if you have a 4matic, because I read somewhere that 9.5 for the rear doesn't work with 4matics.
Thanks

I apologize if I'm asking something that's been answered many times, but unfortunately I'm not understanding offsets. Would someone be kind enough to tell me if these wheels will fit on 2013 C350 4MATIC Coupe? I ordered this as my winter wheels:

4x WHEELS 18X8, 5/112 OFFSET: 38mm

And tires:

4x Pirelli Winter Sottozero 3 Tires 225/40R18 XL 92V

I found the thread with better pics, nice job. One of them is my current background. I hope that's not weird lol.

thanks! hahaha its all good. I have one as my background also on my 27" iMac and it looks killer since its a big screen and such high quality photos. I'm also thinking about getting a few of my favorites printed in like a poster size for the man cave.

Thank you dudeitsmattx. I guess time will tell, but I'm seeing conflicting info on 1010tires and elementwheels for the exact same wheel. The fitment guarantee tool on 1010 says it'll fit, the one on elementwheels says no, as the offset range is 42mm - 54mm on the latter's website. 1010 doesn't show you a range, it just lists all available wheels after you select your vehicle. The wheels I ordered are 38mm:

4x WHEELS 18X8, 5/112 OFFSET: 38mm

Time will tell I guess, I went from wanting to order the cheapest / most basic rims for winter and prioritizing a good set of winter tires, to spending a few hundred dollars more to get rims I would even consider using in the summer (and using the OEM rims for winter)! With every passing day, I'm getting conflicting info and it has me concerned. The site I ordered them from has a fitment guarantee policy that if they say it'll fit, they'll exchange the set hassle free, but in the event it doesn't "fit", how will I know? Will the wheel physically not fit because a caliper will be in the way? Will it rub / damage a fender when I hit a bump? My wheel off-set is 38mm, the range on elementwheels says 42 - 54mm... any help is appreciated!

The wheel websites use factory specs to determine if wheels will fit or not. So that means with factory ride height the wheels in the range will fit fine with not rubbing issues. If you are lowered or go with an offset outside of the factory range you may run into some rubbing issues. But there are way around that like a smaller tire, camber, fender rolling, ect
