Hey guys. Can i put lower offset on a coupe than a sedan?
Coupe is a little bit wider, isnt it?

I want to put 9x19 et25 or et30 on my 350 Coupe.
Would it fit with 235/35?

stick to 40-45 front 45-54 rear if you want 100% fitment if you lower it you can possibly get ET ET35 to fit depending on how low you go

How can you say that without knowing about the wide of the wheels and tires?
Nothing changes when i lower it. If the wheels fit, they will fit with lowering springs as well.

I'm not even going to comment on that just do your research.... I posted what is proven to be the best fitments for w204 cars from experience, reading others issues on the forum, going though hundreds of wheel threads(not just on this site) and only spending countless hours of researching what fitments will look best and work best for w204.

i mean look at the 30 offset its poking out he rolled his fenders risking his paint to get a wider look.... if thats that you want to do do it. He could of just bought the right offset and not had to risk anything with a 19x10 ET 54(rough guess I have to calculate) would of got the same look with 0 fender rolling to be done.

do what you want but rims are expensive some people choose to do it right the first time instead of playing a guessing games

8x19 et45 225/35
9x19 et25 235/35

I can take 8x19 et45 for the rear with spacers but 8 is too small. 9 look better.

Thanks for the links, already knew them. But I don't know what is possible on the coupe.

What is the lowest et you know with 225,235,245 tires?

You shoud be good with either tire sizes since you're still on stock suspensions. what brand of tires you trying to get? 19x9 is not that wide really.

with my current setup 18x8.5 et36 215-40-18 front & 18x9.5 et36 225-40-18 rear on coilovers slammed...had to roll and slight pull on the fender.

also i should add your not a 4matic at least it doesn't say that in your profile so lowering the car would be easy and wouldn't cost you a ton of money if you love the rims just lower the car. super sports are like 300$ a lot of people go that route and install isn't to pricy either.

I have a 350 coupe with normal suspension.
I live in Germany and I'll buy Nexen tires, they are very slim. I don't know if you know this brand in the us too.

Nexen tires are very common here in the US. 35 series are def slim and you will feel the road bumps more IMO. Anyway its your car do what you feel is best.

but yeah show us what wheels you're looking to get.

Rubbing Frustration

I'm hoping those who have Super Sports can chime in and help me out. Before ordering my Super Sports, I had read multiple posts of members who successfully paired Super Sports with a front wheel setup of 235/35r19 and offsets of 40+ without rubbing issues. Considering my wheel setup was a 235 and et42 I went with it.
After installing my springs today I unfortunately had a very different outcome, I now rub on basically everything. Am I missing something here? Did anyone have to roll the fenders to elimintate the rubbing?
I did install some Bilstein B8's with the springs, however my knowledge says this shouldnt manipulate the ride height any lower then those with stock shocks, right? Im so frustrated with the situation and any advice would be greatly appreciated. I prefer to avoid any fender rolling If possible, would a 225/35 work better?

try to avoid fender rolling as much as possible. i'm dropped on kw v3s all the way down. i went to 4 WELL respected (and overpriced lol) places and they all recommended against fender rolling. They say there's a high chance of paint cracking or messing up the fenders. ironically they do fender rolls on bmws all the time.

Wheel specs? is it front wheel or rear wheel? really depends on how wide are the wheels. I had 19x8.5 front and 19x9.5 rear on Super sports with no rubbing issue whatsoever.

I hear ya, I'm not big on rolling fenders neither, obviously thats for BMW's...lol.
Unfortunately unless I can find a cure for the rubbing, I have no choice but to raise it back up.
How do you like your KW's? I originally was against coilovers cause I heard that they kill the ride quality. Sadly I'm eating that decision, my Bilsteins ride just as rough if not more.

Wheel specs: Front wheels are 19x8.5 et42 with 235/35r19. Rear wheels are 19x9.5 et48 with 265/30r19.
I'm only getting rubbing in the fronts. I've tried thinking of every little thing that could cause such drastic results considering members such as yourself have ran the same setup. Unfortunately I've ran out of ideas.

Maybe the brand of tire? I got the same setup except mine are actually ET40 in the front, super sports and Bilstein B8 shocks. I don't rub with Hankook Evo2
