What's special about these slim ballast HID kits? Do they not require error cancellors?

Already have my two testers lined up for my 55w and 35w kits which should be in tomorrow and to my testers by end of the week. Once I get positive feedback from them, we're good to go. As with all my products, they'll be very competitively priced.

65W might be an option in the future, but I'd only probably carry a few as there's not too much demand for HID high beams.

Can't wait! So the kit will be completely plug-n-play? No need to drill holes in the dust covers, etc?

Nope. Sunroof was (which I didn't want).

Even that approach still requires a little bit of drilling though. Just the way it's designed. If you don't want to drill, there's always Crystal Visions.
For the foglights, not necessarily :] I did mine with that bulb adapter from iJDM (after reading about another member's success with it). Basically you use the stock bulb holder with the adapter and it fits pretty well. But there is some wiggle room for the bulb so we ended up using some high heat resistant foam to keep it in place. I've had no problems and I've had the HID fogs since last August :3 No drilling ftw!

Whoa did you just delete the post? o_o

This is a standard HID kit. You can always pick up conversion adapters, but those aren't sealed tight to prevent condensation (then again, neither is drilling). Everything else is just bulb replacement, unless you're looking to spend 4-5x the amount on MTECs.

Yeah, recalled the iJDM adapters, so was rewriting that post. Even then, statement still stands where every kit out there will require a workaround to get into the 204 fog housing, be it adapters or what not.

bump! Also, kinda related question, will the Philips CrystalVision bulbs I bought for my low beams also work for the high beams? (So I would feel less guilty of switching them out altogether after only 1 month of use after your HID kit comes out.)

Yes, your H7 low bulbs will work for your high beams as well.

Back on track, will get these HIDs as soon as you get them out

Just a suggestion for you ,Michael. If you or any of your test subjects could write up a DIY, that would boost the sales, i guess.

Mike, when will your HID lights become available for the low beam lights?
