Anyone have a DIY on C300 headlight painting?

real quick: it looks like you painted the inside of the reflector housing for the highbeam. has this affected your highbeam's performance at all?

You need to take off the entire front bumper to do this?!?! Looks like I'm going to pass, haha, I don't think I would be that capable of doing it myself.
Also, I agree with the above posters... It looks like you have painted the reflectors around the highbeams...

i just wanted to make sure you were aware of what you did! good luck with the reinstall.
i started to do this mod (I had the headlights out and was about to bring them in to start baking them but then i had an epiphany and decided i didnt like the blacked out headlight look on a black car! all that work for nothing.

HotelCrazy you can start a business doing this
Looks a lot of work with no margin of error allowed (especially in the baking process)

Looks great! But I personally would have used some black chrome paint for the high beam portion so that I can still get SOME reflectiveness out of the housing :3 But mannnn that looks mean. Depending on the price/turnaround time, I'd definitely be interested if this became a business

My car is leased, but I am 90% sure I will buy it out at the end. My question is, if I don't, is it possible to remove the paint somehow. Or could I repaint it "chrome" or silver with any success? I guess worst comes to worst I can always sell it for a straight swap?

Looks good. Great job. Baking open is the easy part, it's making sure it's properly sealed that gets tricky. Nothing worse than condensation on inside.
I'm still toying with the idea of opening mine up, but I'd wrap the inside with CF.
