I was too for like a week lol , the plastic cover with mobile 1 sticker need to come off first . Press down on the intake hoses to release them from the cover and pull the clipped in wire away from clips ( 3 clips in all ) . Then you can take off the plastic piece ... the are two clips on the back of the cover that holds it down and two in the front so you have to pull the clips in the back up first ( one on the far left and far right which held the wire in place before you removed it ) then you can just use leverage to pull the front clips on that plastic piece out . After that you just unscrew the t shaped plastic piece from the grill and push it out . You should run the engine a little before you start ... i didnt and it being cold out here in NY the plastic was brittle and broke in places so now i need a new cover .

You don't need to take off the plastic cover with the mobile 1 sticker. There's a DIY floating around, but quickly...
1. Push inwards from the middle bottom of the grille. This will remove the clips from the bottom and swing the grille partially inwards.
2. Start from top left side, unhook the knob from the bumper by pushing inwards.
3. Go to the right side and repeat step two, which should be easier as you're a bit looser now.
4. Pop the center T brace off by flexing the plastic which is just attached by a nub in a hole.
The grille is pretty flexible, but I agree that if the weather is very cold, heat up it a bit by running your engine. I can get it off now in like 15 seconds as I'm constantly swapping out my grille from show grille to driving grille lol.

Are you planning on selling your old silver grill? Mine was damaged recently and will take it off your hands if it is in good condition.
