Facelifted C getting manual transmission in USA?
I was at my dealer and they told me the new 4 cyl C sedan and coupe will have a 6 speed manual.
Any official word on this?

Unfortunately, the dealer is wrong. MBUSA said directly that all manual transmissions for all C Classes are gone for 2012. I had a personal, but brief, web chat debate with the C Class product planner, but the answer remains...all gone. 
I understand the new 3 series 4 cylinder turbo in 2012/13 (not sure of timing) will have a stick.

I guess MB doesn't want my business. I love the new coupe but I am not settling for an automatic. I guess I will look for another BMW to replace my 540i.
