emergency!!!guys please help me about my c class
today, i drove my 2009 C 230 4 matic on reserve gas for 5 km to work. the car was running well. and when I finished my work, and start the car, it won't start, even there was not "click" sound, since if the battery dead, it may have the "click" sound,so i get some gas, and put it in, and i start the car, and run to the gas station. after i fill up the full tank of gas, and start the car, it won't start again, and no "cilck" sound again. during the time as i call the roadside assistant, I gave one more try, it started, right now, I am back home, please help me, could anyone think about what is the reason cause of that, thanks guys

You could have ran your tank dry and broke your fuel pump. Happened on my BMW before. I guess the pump overheated or something since there was no fuel going through it. But that's on the BMW. Not sure if its the same on the Benz.

Even if he ran out of fuel he would have heard his starter going...
I think its a problem with the ignition not detecting the key. It seems a common problem with the new w204. It happens intermittently at first, and then will eventually completely fail. Hope you are still under warranty.

Dang, sorry to hear about that shorem... And I know your out of warranty too because you were posting how your car hit the 100,000 mile mark only a few months ago. How many miles does your car have now? Is this the first major problem you have come across so far?
