Nearly finished. Heres some shots of the progress.

I was going to have my diffuser installed yesterday but ran into a few issues. Updates to come on that later. Here is what my car looks like so far. Enjoy! Im still looking for CF inserts for the side mirrors if anyone knows where I can get some of those.

Looks GREAT! :y Do you plan on dropping it a little? Only place I know of the CF side inserts are on ebay which is where I got mines.

Cycosis 05-16-2011 02:19 PM

Were they actual hard CF? or just ****ty "CF" stickers?

AskDrTodd 05-16-2011 03:05 PM

How many coats did you do on your tails? That's exactly the level of dark I was looking for...

mmike 05-16-2011 03:14 PM

love the tail lights! did you use tint or paint? looking to do the same thing...

Cycosis 05-16-2011 03:39 PM

Had a shop tint them with a film for $145. They look brutal in the sun as you can see the normal red of the tail lights all around the trim as well as the little gill slits. Ill be taking it off as it has pulled/bubbled all over the place after two summers. Do yourselves a favour and get them painted properly. My 2 cents

wnunez89 05-16-2011 04:03 PM

looks good

AZN Optics 05-16-2011 04:06 PM

Looking good. Check ebay for the wet CF mirror wings. Way back, it was a member on this forum who was working with a shop in Taiwan to first develop those, but have now been pimped out to several other distributors out there, but they're the same product so just get the cheapest. They're good for what they are and way better than just vinyl stick-ons. I'd just advise to not use their provided double sided tape and get some stronger 3M body double sided tape so they don't fly off. :y

Why no tint on the front windows? Lower and it will be money.

ulovemybenzo 05-16-2011 04:38 PM

great progress!! debadge the c300/c350 emblems paint the star black and paint the sidemarkers black tint the driver and passenger window and a drop and this will be perfect!

ulovemybenzo 05-16-2011 04:38 PM

*the star in the back not the star up front...

Cycosis 05-16-2011 06:11 PM

Cant lower cause I already cant get into my parkade at my condo :P and I scrape every now and then as is. I also like the chrome on black look which is why I havn't blacked out anything or tinted my side markers. Plus, front tint is illegal here in Calgary and I dont want to throw money down the tubes. Thx for the compliments and thx AZN for the insert info.

It's all about the angles when you are low. Learn to drive and you will never scrape.

Spec_Davis 05-17-2011 11:07 AM

I like that CF spoiler very aggressive.

wnunez89 05-17-2011 11:26 AM

^+1 is it the MCD spoiler? hows the fitment on it?

Cycosis 05-17-2011 02:21 PM

Fitment was decent. But the wing itself is not 100% the right side is higher by about a quarter-1/2inch compared to the left side.

I like the whole thing smoked better than the half-black. How do you guys get these nice cuts on the vinyl though? I can't free-hand that stuff to save my life.
