Light switch symbols - is this lighted?

2009 W204 - Its the outside circular part around the light knob where it has markings for A, low beam and left/right parking lights at the top. I cant seem to recall but are the symbols and letter "A" lighted or has my bulb blown? The ones showing the fog lights on the bottom are lighted when the respective fogs are turned on but cant recall the top symbols. Thanks!

ooh good question, curious to know myself, was driving last night and reached to adjust the lights and noticed my dial wasnt lit up, couldnt remember if it was supposed to be....

I don't think it is lit.

Not lit.

To me, it is a design fault. All other lights are great. I wonder how could MB passed the design review. Let's see if 2012 has that light.

Daily-driver Belgian-manufactured Ford has far superior switch, control and dash lighting, including of course an illuminated light switch and a headlight leveler next to it, also lit. The logic of the roof lighting switches is intelligent, the W204 can only be called moronic - 9 switches poorly identified and illogically placed. Even the cheapest cars now have touch-sensitive lenses that you stroke to increase or decrease illumination, tap to turn on or off.

Thanks all for checking. Good to know its not a blown bulb then. Its definitely a bad design or to save a few pennies! Even cheaper cars have illuminated symbols.

Lighten up Francis - Kia's have lighted switches too, wouldn't want to drive one though...
