Philips Diamond Vision H7 5000K
Just wonder where you guys got the bulbs? Only place I can find is ebay, and they don't come w/ the retail box. I worry if they are real Philips bulbs or knock-offs.

This site worked well for me:
http://www.powerbulbs.com/bulb_finde...id=1858&bulb=1 They handle sales to the US, and the transaction went very well. |
BEWARE - There are some FAKE Philips Diamond Vision 5000K H7 out there. Get the bulbs that are SEALED in Philips box with Made in Germany on the box and under the base of the bulb.
I bought a set of bulbs (High, Low and Fog Light) on eBay after 40 minutes of using it (driving to work and home) the bulb swell-up or bubbled out. The bulbs were MUCH DIMMER than the OEM Halogen H7 bulbs. I have to use my High-beam all the way home, looking like a donkey on the road. Thinking that the set could be a defect; I switched out and installed the second set and the same thing happened less than 5 minutes of installing it. The seller told me that it needs “Some Time” to “break-in” to get to the Max brightness. Thank god I checked the bulb. I post the picture later tonight. |

Amazon sells the Crystal vision bulbs not the Diamond vision. AFIK Phillips does not sell the Diamond vision bulbs direct in the US. The set I ordered from IPmart came in full retail box and arrived within week from China:) Been running them for a coiple of months with no problems.

Did you pay the basic shipping or paid for the UPS/USPS? I'm afraid the item wouldn't come because there is no tracking # with the basic shipping. Thanks. |
I used registered airmail they sent me like 4 emails with confimation of my order then shipping number you can track through the USPS.

would love to see pics...side by side of light output
|
I was planning on using these for my 2010 E550 for the brights any issues? Going to order from PowerBulbs.com
THanks |
Have been running on these for at least 2 years and no issues at all. Would have been better if they were a tad brighter though.
|
Wow! Two years and they haven't fused? Do you do a lot of night driving?
|
Would these be whiter light than the phillips crystal vision h7s?

I have Philips Diamond Vision on both low beams and fog lamps for almost 2 years now without any problem. http://img259.imageshack.us/img259/5690/dsc0310s.jpg Below you will see the difference between the two. 4300K on my MDX's lowbeams and 5000K on fog lamps. http://img46.imageshack.us/img46/8336/dsc0506m.jpg http://img20.imageshack.us/img20/3248/dsc0497kx.jpg |

I used the Philips Diamond Vision when I still had a SLK and was pretty happy with it. It was white. Then it rained and I could hardly see the roads. Never used them again. Actually I still have them in the box. Replaced them with the Philips Crystal Vision and was happy with it.
I've attached a photo of my C350 which I upgraded this week with the Philips Crystal Vision Ultra and am really happy with it. Noticeably brighter and whiter than the OEM. They're 4000K. Got them from Amazon for $24 plus S&H. As you can see the Crystal Vision Ultra on the driver's side is whiter compared to the OEM on the passenger side. I actually ordered another set for the high beam that I should be getting tomorrow. |

I have to use my fog light along with the low beam. I will try the Phillips Crystal Vision. Thanks aty:) |
