Seems too good to be true... make sure you check the CarFax. Private seller or dealership?

This sounds like a good deal, particularly since it has P2 and MM which is fairly rare.

the inservice date is dec 2009. Do you think if i keep it a year drive it to 35-40k miles...do you think i can resell for 25k?

If i can just lose 2-3k in a year i will buy it!

What do you guys think?

even if it does just lose 3k in a yr.. doesnt mean that you will get the asking price that you want. plan ahead, if you dont mind the 3-5k lost, than go for it.

Not sure where you are from but it sounds like a good deal to me. All of the '09 C350s in my area are $31K+.

FWIW, When having the wifes R350 serviced I checked out the new Cs and the new MLs while waiting. I talked quick numbers with the salesman and was offered $24k for my '08 C350 with P2 & MMP and 39,000-miles.

If the resale value of the car makes or breaks whether you can afford the car, I'd say no. Why risk the headache of being upside down on car payments Both our E coupe and C sedan are paid off in full for this very reason. (God forbid our business goes to hell and we have to sell the cars but owe more than they are worth!)

What happens if you get in an accident or major breakdown?

God forbid it happens, but what if you incur a total loss?

What if you have to drive more than 5000 miles in a year?

Seems like a good deal but a stupid plan.

Will be paid off in cash. I never keep cars over 1-2 years and i buy used with great deals to minimize loss.

If total loss i will win with insurance. If breakdown its under warranty for 27k more miles.

i plan to drive 10-15k miles the first year.
