Rear Sunshade Rattle & Rear Ceiling Rattle
I am trying to get a grip on two rattles.
The first is when my rear sunshade is up. This will rattle on even quite smooth roads. I've pretty much given up on ever using my rear sunshade because the rattle is bad. I don't remember it being this way when new, is my memory bad, or should the rear sunshade indeed not rattle?
Finally...a somewhat more annoying rattle as I can't simply lower to the shade to stop it. The edge of the rear ceiling above the rear passenger heads rattle. I finally tracked this, thought it was the deck for some time.
However, I can push on the edge of the ceiling while riding back there, and it 100 percent goes away. I can also insert a thick sock into the middle between the ceiling and glass and it goes away, but half the sock sticks out, so not a real solution. ha-ha.
Anyone else have this rattle and had it fixed?

I have very little warranty left. It's also easy to make go away the ceiling one, by pushing on ceiling, but not easy to produce has to be just right road.
I just thought they might be common issues I could get more information on, and I don't know if it's picky to complain about the sunshade, if they all do it?

rear deck lid rattle.
Hey guys I have a 2009 c300 with a rear shade, my rattle over certain bumps and bass came from the rear shade motor, it rattles under certian bass and road bumps. Get in your trunk with a low deep bass tune on and hold up against it, rattle went away for me. I wedged a dense foam in there and problem solved. Just get in the trunk and carefully bang your fist on the underside of the deck lid, bingo that unit rattles. Has two wires going to it, hope this helps, got rid of my issue.

I do not have any rattle like that, even on roughest road. Do not worry about your warranty runing out soon. As long as you let dealer start looking and solving the issues, they will not stop just because you have less days left than what dealer needs to complete their task.
