The shifter looks good on the SLS because it has a wider center console, not too sure how is going to look on the C with a narrow center console.

Looks like the SLS is a fixed electronic transmission lever. On the C, it would have to move down the shift gate. Not sure how that is going to look

I was thinking the same thing the stick is longer also in the C
Class. Might look ackward.

The OEM SLS shifter in leather looks really nice, but I agree that it will look really odd on a taller stalk and leather boot.
The aftermarket shifter doesn't even have the opening under the knob which looks cheap:

got one en route from germany... half alcantara, half nappa leather knob... with alcantara boot to match my c63 alcatara wheel...from 2012 c63 coupe with p30 performance package

i like the perforated leather better or the half alcantra half nappa leather even better better (thats what i got)

Despite what most of us thought I took a shot at it. I think it looks great in my C63. It sits A LOT lower than stock due to the design where the shift rod goes all the way to the top of the knob.

I asked the seller on eBay, he said it made from plastic not aluminum. Now it is still new so look ok after time i think it look cheap with yours c63.

I'm quite sure the original knob that came with the car is also plastic after taking it off. I guess we will see how it holds up.

Yes that is the seller. I guess my point about the material being no different than the C63, is what it is replacing. Clearly no one would would by this to replace their CLS shifter which is aluminum. I guess I dont see why it would be cheap overtime any more than the standard plastic one since the material seems the same. I cant ask for much for 80 bucks if it looks bad overtime, ill take it off.
