Removing Front Seat Backs
I did a search and found some info but I can not figure out how to remove the backs of the front seats.
In my C230 there was 2 torx screws that needed to be removed and the cover slid down and off.
I can't find any screws and the back seems well attached.
Anyone have a clue how to remove it?
Thanks

Has anyone received any answers to this or figured it out?
i have a 2008 C350. I am trying to remove the back cover of the front driver side seat. In pre 2008 models, there was two torx screws to remove. in the 2008 version, they switched to plastic clips and i think there are two indentations inside the seat pocket, but i haven't figured out how to release the clips. If anyone has figured this out, please help out.
Thanks!

There are two clips at the bottom and then two "hooks" at the top. So just grab the edge of the cover at the bottom and jerk a bit to release the clips and then slide the back cover downwards. Should go quite easy(did for me).

They're just held on by clips. Sounds harsh but literally just yank them out. I would advise using a plastic trim cover remover so you can slowly pry it off and not damage your seats at the same time.

thanks for the replies. i got the cover off last night, just pulling out from the bottom edges one at a time with enough force popped them out.
for anyone following this - if you have taken the seat cover off to remove the headrest, do you have to break the headrest restraint guide to be able to remove and replace the headrest? once you get the cover off, what is the key to getting the headrest out of the guide? i got the instruction sheets from another site, but i am clearly missing something.
