Sounds like Christine.
Porsches don't have lock pins which could definitely be a problem.

Surprised this kind of thing still occurs. Poor design. A friend of mine from college had this happen to him 20 years ago on Twin Peaks in San Francisco where there are a lot of transmission towers of various sorts. Actually, he was locked out. Back to Porsche, a small defense on their part, this probably could've happened to any brand. Often, this type of system (and many other ones) are provided and designed by tier-1 suppliers. So, if we dug into more details, it probably wasn't Porsche's fault and that supplier may have supplied similar systems to other brands. All of whom were scrambling to fix it...
