I was told the New 2012 C300 spoiler would fit my car (08) so it should be the same.

I dont think it perfectly fit, there is a thread in the C class coupe where a guy tries a 08 spoiler on the coupe and it doesnt perfectly fit,and if Im not wrong the structure of the rear from the coupe is same as 2012 sedan.

Maybe I won't tell you that the Coupe and the Sedan are completely different trunks. Therefore- it won't fit.
Do you have a Coupe or a Sedan? Do you know the difference?
Don't worry Newbie. I won't respond to any more of your posts.

I have a sedan yes and no I do not exactly know the difference between the 2
And I forgot to mention that I was pointing at myself rather then at you so you dont need to be offended

On a similar token, (and maybe this is what OP meant) but are there any aftermarket companies making the new style spoiler that juts out in the center but protrudes less on the sides? I've seen both styles on '12s so far

But anyhow, I don't think the OP was slamming you. I read it as he was throwing in his 2cents and asking for people with more knowledge of him to chime in/correct him. Some times it's tough trying to infer inflection.
