Dont paint the stock calipers... Not a honda

I think your wheels would look 1000x better if the center caps were still chrome -- or maybe just the 3 pointed star within the center cap if you like. It needs that bit of detail.

I actually followed this guys instructions on YouTube, type in "dip your car" and you will see his videos. Did it all myself, applied about 6 coats and came out great! Hope this helps

its pretty simple, but please TAKE the wheels OFF and do it, last thing you want is plasti dip on your rotors, :p

i did them that way, and i liked the look of them at first, but after a while they don't have that nice black finish, check out my pics

looks good i like the painted lip part too!

kustom2k1 04-21-2012 04:27 PM

Did you just tape off the tires? Any scuffing of the material or do you just spray the plastidip?

Stevedotmil 04-21-2012 04:30 PM

Index cards work well for the tires.

Personally I did not tape off the tires because I knew that the plasti dip would peel right off the tires after I was done. No scuffing, all you got to do is clean with soap and water then follow with nice even coats.

I might do this...how many cans of plastidip did you end up using?

Invain15 04-21-2012 11:47 PM

I agree with the guy above. I would take the plasti dip off of the center caps. It looks much better. Thats what I did with mine.

agedog2gt 04-22-2012 12:20 AM

did you use the dip on your front grill as well?

You'll be fine even if you don't jack the car up. you just need to make sure u use common sense and don't puddle or over spray.
