Agree killer looks on a 3 or 5 series not for a W204.

Stay away from Konig cheap cheap cheap and heavy!

JimPap 05-24-2012 08:13 AM

I think they look great.

Maybe you can find the same style made by a better manufacturer.

Best of luck.

cheap meaning inexpensive or cheap meaning bad quality?

Stevedotmil 05-24-2012 10:28 AM

I had these rims on a previous car and they weren't that heavy in 17". Never had any issues with them. Previous car was black and they set it off nice.

Both

^ do u have first hand experience with them or owned a set? Ive seen people ran them for years with no problems. Like every other wheel brand on the market offcourse some may have bent. telling someone to stay away from a product that's been around for a while like Konig is jst not right. I'm not trying to argue here but I'm just saying.

Junk151 05-24-2012 10:06 PM

Thanks for the feedback guys. I have a couple of friends with Konigs and they haven't had any issues but I know anything can happen. I like the style and even though they look bmw-ish I think they can work on a w204 but just looking at them right now. I saw a set of TSW that I really liked. Decisions, decisions, lol.

Here's what my car looked like. No one else had these especially on the car I had them on.

They were a pain to keep clean though since all the spokes were black and the lips too.

remember guys that the only thing that touches the ground on your 40k plus car is the damn tires and wheels! Dont get cheap

Stevedotmil 05-25-2012 11:02 AM

Remember also Gentlemen that just because you drive a 40K+ car doesn't mean you have money to throw away or you have to be snooty. Just saying. Rich people didn't get rich by blowing all their money.

Yeah, NO GO for W204s. Maybe on Bimmers and Hondas. Got something similar on my Acccord, the Racing Hart C3.

Junk151 05-25-2012 03:00 PM

Now that I've seen a lot of pictures of them I don't think they'll go on the w204, still cool looking though. I think I'm going to go with the classic five spoke design.

Im talking about quality not price! There are several quality wheels out there that come cheap. Konig is not one of them its just cheap and cheap.

Sportstick 05-26-2012 09:14 AM

There are pros and cons to different manners of manufacturing wheels, all the way from the more economical gravity-fed cast wheels, right up to forged. Within each of those, some can be made in a high quality process, some not. To help sort them out, try to buy from JWL, TUV, and/or ISO9001 approved sources, which are independent quality assessment/rating agencies which establish process and quality standards.
