HELP! top part of Nav unit not ligning up..

HELP! top part of Nav unit not ligning up..
Hi , I recently retrofitted command Nav Unit,
Everything worked out fine... except...

I can't get the top part (that opens and closes automatically) to line up perfectly

When it closes automatically there is about half a centimeter sticking out..

anyone know how I can fix that?

Looks about how my '08 did. Fit wasn't the best.

is that the top that came with the unit or did you switch the top out from the original???

mine sits flush, make sure all is tight n snug with that piece, other wise not sure why its not flush
