Glyn is the best.
This will go in my "car" file. |
Wiki coming soon. Then with the help of members we can have all these things in one place.
|
~ thank you kindly...
now if i could just located the fuse for the passenger power seat? it stopped working and i prefer to check the fuse myself versus having the dealer crawling in and around my car. ;) |
New car should have the fuse map sheet in the tool bag in the spare tire well.

Hmm! - shown in US EPC as well. Let's clear this up. Do all or some US cars not have an interior fuse box? |

While I have no idea how 2012 models are configured, my 2008 has no interior fuse box because the features served by those fuses were not offered in the US. Check the fuse sheet which cleared it up then. |
From the Benz literature I'm pretty sure some US models have interior fuse boxes. Cars without would be ones of omission still rendering the above pdf valid. The SAMS are the same.
Yes some US cars are stripped down to a sticker price. |

Yes some US cars are stripped down to a sticker price. Fuses 116 & 126 Steering wheel and seat adjustment, perhaps left/right. Since memory seats and power column adjustment were not offered, those fuses are not present. Fuse 117 Adaptive damping. Fuse 119 AC rear compartment. My fuse allocation sheet is labelled 2006-10-02 A 204 584 14 81 |
The fuse sheet above is still correct. If you don't have something on it then you don't have it.

This is an international forum with over 30% of traffic from other than NA (Canada & US) & growing. We call ourselves MBWorld & there is no need to be parochial.
The document I posted covers all W204 - has been posted previously on this forum & is correct. If you don't have something fitted to your specific car as would even be the case with your fuse allocation sheet labelled 2006-10-02 A 204 584 14 81 which is from very early production then just ignore it. |
BTW - On cars with an interior fuse box the fuse allocation sheet is stored there.

Old thread I know... but again Glynn comes through for me... so a quick shout out... Thank you!!! Wanted to find another remote power source for my rear amp... and to figure out what all the fuses in the rear block went to... Jason

Thank you!
