anyone have some input on how to get these brakes lookin good again? or do i have to just replace them. Im not the first owner of this car i bought it with the brakes lookin like that and i hate it lol especially with how open this rims are they show the brakes a lot. is there restoration techniques or do they just need to be replaced?

caligreenzzz 06-15-2012 11:48 PM

they look nice, after a drop will look even better....but them side mirrors are a different story

snarlingchicken 06-16-2012 01:35 AM

They look good! They kinda remind me of the Euro63RS wheels, except for the fact that these are concave and not convex. And to make your calipers look better, take a brush (maybe even one of those metal scrubbers with steel wool) and scrub until your arm falls off.

abitria 06-16-2012 05:26 AM

Hahah guess I'll be scrubbing then

Drill, wire wheel, caliper paint, repeat X4. New rotors

what he^^^ said! Or you can get some sending sponges from Home depot with very fine grid (360?) and it'll make it very easy to sand it off

abitria 06-16-2012 10:27 AM

Probably going with the sanding sponge lol

Where are the tires?

Well, what size are the tires, and did you notice any harshness vs oem's ? Car does look good with those wheels.

.

abitria 06-18-2012 02:54 PM

235/35zr19 that's the tire size. Ride is still smooth no rubbing or anything. Glad I went with 19s
