Do stock 2012 C350 17" AMG wheels handle salt well?

My car is a daily driver. That being said will the stock wheels on my car get messed up from road salt in the Pennsylvania winters we get...or should they be able to manage? If they'll get too beat up, does anyone have a recommendation for a place/brand to get cheap beater wheels for the winter?

I use my wheels on all my Merc's all year round and never had them start to degrade. I also put a coat of wax/sealant on them so that may help. So I would say they hold up well, but then again plentyyy of people have designated winter and summer sets

If you take care of things they will last, if you don't they wont. Simple as that

263 views and no comments that the wheels can't handle salt. Guess I'll be sticking with the stock wheels all year. Good to hear!

I think anything is vulnerable after constant exposure to salt without maintenance. It's probably a good idea to put on a coat of wax on the rims (collinite is the best winter wax IMO) and get into the habit of hosing down your rims after every commute.

They will hold up extremely well with the exception of the centre cap.
