Random Flashing Lights

Random Flashing Lights
I am having a problem with my 2010 c300. All of a sudden (tonight), it started flashing lights for no reason. This is happening at random intervals, and the blink is very sudden. It is just the side lights (orange ones) on the front of the car and the lights ABOVE the headlights. The headlights themselves do not flash. The alarm is working fine (I checked, because some preliminary searching yielding results saying it might be an alarm problem). The way the lights are flashing, it seems as though it might be a short or something. Any idea what this can be?
I'm afraid it is going to make my battery die if I let it flash randomly all night. Any tips would be amazing. Please be specific, however. I'm a girl and I only know a little about cars.

I had an issue with my headlights occasionally cutting out. They couldn't reproduce the issue so I simply recorded my car everytime I started up as my lights always come on in the garage. After a week or so, I finally got it on video. It's likely your lighting switch module.
You may want to make sure you have it on video if it is very random just incase they can't reproduce it at the dealer. For me, the next time in, they said they couldn't reproduce it and I showed them the video. The SA acted like they still couldn't switch out the module since they couldn't reproduce it at the shop. I asked him to note on my service request that I have shown this happening on video and then I would promply go out later tonighht and crash my car into something. He looked at me, smiled and said it would be taken care of.

Hey guys I have a 2003 E55 AMG. THe problem I am having is that the lights randomly start flashing when the car is parked. I will randomly walk into my garage and see the lights flashing the headlights, tail lights and the lights inside. Almost looks like a silent alarm. I then I have to press the lock button for this to stop?
Any suggestions?

C300 2012 79k miles. My dashboard lights started to blink off and on and I started to get error messages. For instance, SRS Malfunction, Cruise control inoperative, etc. and then the car wouldn't start, then it would, but I couldn't put it in drive. But the dashboard lights started to blink. Does anyone know what this is???

Hello, my 2008 Mercedes Benz c300 is having the same problem. Did you ever find a solution to this?
The lights above the headlights start randomly flashing, the car has been parked, locked and sitting there for at least 1 hour.

2003 E55
I am having this same issue with my 2003 E55. Just started about a week ago. Has anyone figured out what was causing the issue? Today I had the Convenience Features disabled message on when I started my car up.
