Knightmare69 08-24-2012 11:31 AM

wait, if you have an image why not just take it to the parts dept and show them?

MDMercedesGuy 08-24-2012 11:31 AM

Considering an overwhelming majority of posters on this site are from US and are in the same boat as you, it's kind of hard for us to get the part numbers for you.

You may have better luck asking on benzworld.org - they seem to have a larger number of non-US owners on there than here.

If all else fails - it might be worth contacting a few dealers in the UK or such.

FWIW, I've been watching your threads - I'd like to know this myself. It seems like a nice addition to the car.

Pesh- welcome to the forum. Now-learn some manners. Please do not be disrespectful to fellow members and refrain from the condescending quotations. Especially if you plan on receiving useful responses.
The picture you have attached to your original post does not enlarge.

there are a bunch of "experts" at the dealership

I think you fairly effectively burned your bridges with that one. Ron Jr. is a long standing and respected member, but such rudeness is not accepted on anyone's behalf, even if directed at you! You may wish to apologize and start again, and meanwhile, go visit your dealer with whatever document you have which we cannot read due to posting it in a non-enlargeable format.

OK - It's not in the 2011 EPC - Under-seat fire extinguishers, garbage cans, first aid kits, etc. are.

I have the 23 July 2012 Global Accessories Catalogue and they are not listed there.

The only way to order them at the moment is to specify the "Stowage Package" at the build of your car. You can order the stowage package here in SA for local build in East London but it does not even carry a Benz options code yet.

It's not even listed on the Benz Germany Konfigurator.

So. The only way you are going to get this right is to go to a dealer with live access into the Benz EPC system & hope that a spare parts code is shown for the "Stowage Package"

Good luck! This is new to W204.

Mind your manners.

Guys, we are experiencing problems with opening pictures on the forum especially with FF. It has been reported by yours truly. The work-around while we fix it is to open the picture in another window. Even that does not work with the above thumbnail. I pulled the pic from the OP's original thread.

Thx for putting this on the list. I started noticing it last night.

My operator's manual does not show the stowage under the seat. So I assume it is not a US item? Besides, there is not much space under the front seat so the stowage must be just a little.

Glyn M Ruck 08-26-2012 09:49 AM

The OP pulled that from the MBUSA site if you look at the pic. It must only be in the latest 2012 manuals.

EDIT: It's possible that the seat design has changed to accommodate this. Might end up being an option at build only ~ we don't know.

jctevere 08-26-2012 01:06 PM

I don't have this on my 2012 Coupe model... Hmm, I will reach out to some people I know through GenBenz at MBUSA headquarters and try to get some more information on this!

Pesh 08-26-2012 07:20 PM

Hey jctevere thank you for your assistance....I have a 2013 c300 atic sedan and it is defiantly in my manual and on mbusa PDF manual....again thank you for your effort

The W212 comes with that underseat storage as standard. I wouldn't pay anything to get it as an option. Doesn't even fit the owners' manual.

Don

That's what I guessed. Maybe couple of pencils will fit in?

Pesh 08-26-2012 11:48 PM

Well in my w212 2013 E550 4matic I can fit my wallet, keys, phone, lighter, and cigs.... Keeps all that stuff out of my cup holders and still accessible. Me and my wife use them for these items every time we get in....so it would be nice to have them in her 2013 C300 4matic
