09 c300 low beam
Hello guys, I have a Canadian MY 09 and the low beam is always on, even if the knob is on 12 o clock position (0). Due to some weird law in Canada. Is there any way I can disable and have control over my low beam? (I.e I can turn it off by switch the knob to the 0 position)
- I tried talking to my dealer have them disable it through STARS. of course they're no help at all.
-I tried calling around local shops, they told me to unplug some relay... I think they permeant disables the low beam which is not what I want. I want to have control over it like the rest of the world.
Any advice?

i believe if you go into the settings menu on the instrument cluster with your steering wheel there should be a setting for daytime lights or something of that nature and it will turn off your headlights.

DRLs are required by Canadian law and no Canadian dealer will turn it off for you. I'm not saying that it cannot be turned off - it can be if you can find someone who has access to STAR.
