Yes, this speedo will work after adding code 442 for 12-button wheel and digital speedo to Vedoc. As I mentioned before, you just have to change the upper part of the facelift speedometers housing against the old one.

Yes, you just have to shorten the faceplate.
Remove W204 headunit, install 212 headunit and thats it. It is really a simple thing.
Btw, it is also possible to upgrade to NTG4.5. I developed a converter so that one can maintain the W204 pre facelift display. Just one/two minor shortcomings have to be fixed.
Just went to my car to show you the bt streaming function of 212 NTG4.

For the upgrade from ntg4 to ntg4.5 ... I tried before but not works, if @Minuszeit or someone done it sucessful please share how it can be done.
Thanks

In 2-3 weeks the upgrade from NTG4 to 4.5 is done.
The problem is not to make the HU run, the main problem is to make it run with the NTG4 flip screen unit due to the different LVDS signal. My DIY converter NTG4 LVDS to NTG4.5 LVDS signal is still in progress.

Minuszeit: how difficult was it to install W212 climate control on your W204?
Was there allot of modification that you had to to make it work.
Did you have to purchase a specific control unit to match your W204 car?
Thank you

Minuszeit: also you mention this in earlier post: "As I mentioned before, you just have to change the upper part of the facelift speedometers housing against the old one."
What do you mean that we have to chance "upper part" "agains the old one".
Do if I have 2010 C300 W204 and I purchase speedometer from 2012 W204. Do I need to use/keep my old cluster housing and swap out the internals of the speedometer?
Thank you for all the info

I already have the 12 button SW and the Monochrome MFD Speedo
What would happen if you took a new cluster and plugged it in directly without SCN/STAR?
My Stealers here are a bunch of tossers who don't want to help in any way at all!

Also, how did you manage to get the wood panel? Can't find that anywhere..?

Where did u get Air condition panel? How much did it cost? Did it require any soldering / firmware updates or just plug-n-play?

PCB boards are different, to get a newer cluster in a pre-facelift you have to do some soldering and programming. I personally gave up after a few months. Mercedes really makes this all more difficult than is reasonable.

This swap is very easy if you send the unit to me. I can code it for you and your car. If you have Star Diagnose with Vediamo I can code it to your car remotely.

Awesome, don't we have to send both clusters though? And instead of coding remotely, is there a walk thru that could be written up? And how much would it cost for you to do it?
