Would a c63 front grille fit on a Sports model?

I am thinking about fitting a c63 front grill to a c class sports model. Would this be a direct swap? Has anybody done this before?

You are a newbie with 7 posts. No answer usually means it's common knowledge and a search is needed.

So go up to the upper right area and click "search this forum"

Then enter as I did "C63 Grill on C300"

among the 70 results of the search is this new thread with you answer and examples.

C63 grill on C-Class front bumper?

Try this method ... good to know how to search.

Simple answer is no. Need to find an aftermarket "C63 Syle" grill. But all non-amg grilles are swappable.

Actually you can put the C63 griil on but there will be a big gap between the grill and the upper chrome trim and it looks horrible. Best suggestion is the previously suggested C63 style grill.

The thread that I pointed too covers both types of swaps, with pictures. I never thought that gap was that big, unless sie by side with a C63.

The thread was 2 hours when you posted. An answer and a polite suggestion to search next time would have been a lot better than a condescending post...

IMHO, there is a broad line between taking the time (actually doing the search work) to be informative and proving an answer he can generate, vs being condesending. I gave him the tools to get the answer without help, so, as a newbie he can come up to speed quickly.

Now how was I condesending again, vs being informative?

I hope I can rattle your cage by adding this suggestion to the newbie, that he look at this sticky the admins posted THAT I WROTE MDM GUY.

Wow, you really take yourself seriously, don't you?

Your assumption that the poster didn't know how to search and your explanation of it to him as if you were trying to teach a 2nd grader to use a forum came off as condescending.

I'm glad you feel like you need to try to rattle my cage - it's okay though, don't waste your effort. You formed my opinion of yourself for me a long time back.

No assumptions here other than the factual information presented: newbie and 7 posts. I then explained searching to him, using his question as an example. In your opinion you found it condesending, and took the big leap to imply you were an Oz of sorts, so this must be the opinion of all others, a global opinion. You definitly take yourself more seriouly than you deserve.

Wierd sentence. I had no opinion of you before, now I do.
