Dealer price to do rear brakes?

They're quoting me $415 to do rear pads and rotors, incl. labor. Does that sound reasonable considering it's a dealer?

Thanks!

mine came to 451.28 for rears . suggestion , buy your own rotors and pads OEM and just have them do the labor.

Thanks.

From my experience, the dealer will refuse to warranty parts/work that you did not buy from them directly, even if they're supposedly OEM. I'll just let them do it this time.

You can buy oem brakes and roters for about $265 online. If you can do the work yourself then you can save some money. If not, $415 seems like a decent price for a dealer. You figure their marked up price to be about $300 for parts and $115 for the labor.

I changed my front brake pads using a DIY from this site and it was pretty easy. There is a rear DIY as well that you could follow.

Parts cost should be less than $250 for rear rotors and pads..even after tax..
MSRP for the rear rotors are $63 each and rear pads are $70 for the set..

You are correct. I was looking at the cost for the front rotors and brakes.

Yeah that seems way to high and considering how easy it is to do pads and rotors this should be an easy DIY.
A little off-topic but shouldn't the rear rotors on C350 be drilled as well, like the front or are they solid? I just noticed that my rear rotors are solid on my C350.

Guys, I realize $415 is a lot more than DIY, but that wasn't my question. I was just wondering if $415 is a typical dealer price for this job, and it sounds like it is. Thanks for the responses.
