Spoiler starting to come off
Hey,
I recently purchased the amg trunk spoiler for my 2011 mercedes. It's starting to peel off on left side. I must not have cleaned it properly or something. Any suggestions how to remedy? I'm afraid to peel it off and damage paint? Let me know. Thank you

I have been railing about this for quite a while..... tape alone is a higher risk (especially for the unfortunate guy behind you on the highway when it finally lets go) than is reasonable. A bead of urethane across the full width of the spoiler underside should be used to attach spoilers.
Having said that (again), in your situation, as you have a point where it is lifting, I would start to introduce 3M Adhesive Remover from that point gradually poking my way with q-tips or similar until the spoiler is off. Then, fully clean the surface, and reattach with urethane and tape down with blue tape and keep the car still for the day so there is no body flex occurring while it cures. That will be much more secure, so be sure you get it in the right place!
