Just bought a 04 kompressor
I am taking it back to the dealership as the air conditioning is not working at all also the service engine came on with a code of PO715 for a Turbine Speed sensor in relation to the engine and automatic transmission communications. All should be covered under warranty. This car was owned by some old lady and she barely drove, probably never even spread this babys wings so i plan to break her in because ive read in many threads that she likes to go and driving her that way is a good thing.
If anyone has any general do's and don'ts as well as knowledge of the best synthetic blend oils to use (not sure if Royal Purple is compatible my father uses with his 08 dodge charger and says its good stuff)
I plan to do as much repairs and maintenance as possible by myself with one person to help me rather than pay for a certified MB dealer or foreign auto repair shop rate.
Things to watch out for would be greatly appreciated as well.
I was previously an owner of a 1997 c230 base model. I enjoyed the dependability and even drove 30k with a blown head gasket using stop leak fix without a problem, unfortunately it came back to overheating....at 303,000 miles on it! I'd love to see my new c230k last close to the same if i can help it.
Thank you for any help/positive feedback in advance!!!
