2010 Mercedes C300 Sport
Newbie on the block
Hello all,
My name is Tara...just bought a 2010 C300...and I love it! I've only taken a few pics of it, but would prefer to take more pics once I tint the windows and replace the stock headlights with HID's.
Anyway, if anyone has any recommendations for HID kits, or can tell me where I can take my ride to get the work done by a pro, please let me know. I live in San Diego.

Hello again, and thank you for all of the suggestions. Are these kits "plug and play" or should I just pay someone to order and install them? I've installed LED's on my motorcycle so I am familiar with electrical components and wiring harnesses however, I know this can also be a pain in the butt. I just want to know if this process will be labor intensive or if I can do this alone. Thanks again guys! Have an awesome week!

Installing HIDs and LEDs are not really too difficult, especially since you've already done some level of installation on your bike so understand the general concept. Only difficulty really is usually the tight space involved and popping clip panels. Not really difficult and definitely a DIY.
I agree that Morimoto kits are the best bang for your buck. We are an authorized dealer in Morimoto kits.

So I called every dealership in north county to see if any of them would be willing to install the HID's, but that's a negative. I'm not really sure why although I can speculate that it is due to protecting their butts from insurance claims produced by cheap HID kits or faulty wiring. I dunno but looks like I'm on my own with installation.
I would like to tint my windows next week. Does anyone have any suggestions for companies that tint?
I would certainly appreciate the suggestions. Thanks again for the warm welcome. In reference to questions about the pics of my car, I will not take any pics until the aftermarket work is finite.
