Bolt on Quad Tips

How does having quad tips installed mess up your resale? I dont get it... The average buyer wont even know it was twin pipes vs quad pipes...

Any modifications from stock make the "average" buyer uneasy, in my experience. "Aggressive" styled Modifications => Aggressive Drivers in most buyers minds as well. Also not 100% sure how a dealer trade in would think of it.

It's a cosmetic modification same as installing a nicer set of wheels on the car. You are not talking about installing an x-pipe or changing the exhaust. I would put my hand on fire that if anything, it would make your car more appealing for any buyer.
It's not for nothing that even the dealers offer the option to do this modification (except that they install the whole C63 stock exhaust and diffuser).

Yeah you're right, I doubt it will make a difference. Just wondering if there was an option. I'll likely get a pair of tips and weld them on.

Sorry for bringing up old thread and I was in the process of getting tips welded next to my existing tips for a quad tip setup and was looking for a bolt on as well in case I want to go back to factory. I ran across these on ebay. Getting tips welded seems to be pretty pricey and for the same price as these tips with the option to revert back to stock fairly easily, this seems to be a good alternative. But I'm not sure if it's exact fitment over stock. Has anyone tried these yet?

Those look pretty decent. 2012+ exhaust tips are bolted onto a ~2" flared piece of a pipe coming off of the muffler, with just a single bolt on top. These have 3 bolts, however, the bottom two may be just for stabilization or something.
I have no idea how the pre-facelift exhaust tips attach to the muffler. Maybe take a look on your car.
Also, I can't really tell if these tips route exhaust to one or both tips, might be something to consider.

Yup that's exactly the shape I'll need. These have the same effect but I can bolt on to stock instead of cutting and welding. But I think because of the S piping on the stock the tips will still be slightly off centered
My original plan is the one below. https://mbworld.org/forums/c-class-w204/264879-c63-diffuser-w-oem-c350-tip-quad-install-pics.html
I already have the extra tips. Essentially it's gonna end up like the tips u posted. But welding is going to cost as much but not easily reversible

just warning you I bought 2 sets of these on eBay last year identical to these with identical dimensions and they had to really be modified to even fit and they ended up looking terrible I took them off the second pair was even worse I would strongly recommend not getting those
Maybe the ones below might be a better bolt on alternative. I actually prefer these style tips over the oval.

I ended up not going with these since they are way smaller diameter compared to stock. Ended up buying the h quads from aliexpress and had them welded on.
