USB interface question

Hi All,
I'm going to buy 2011 or 2012 C300. My question is that does factory default Audio 20 system of these years provide the USB interface (or media interface that a conversion cable is available) that I can use USB disk to play mp3 files? Current 2013 model looks ok at MB webside.

My guess is that 2012 would, as the 2012 and 2013 have the same Audio 20 system. The 2011 is an older Audio 20 system.

You can buy a 3 cable kit from the dealer that plugs into a socket in the glove box. My 2008/2009 model has this. One of the cables is a USB. :)

Yes, 2012 C300 has a USB port inside the center box beside the driver's seat.

kev10 - Do you know if the USB port in the 2012 is supposed to be able to charge your iPhone as well? I used a 2014 C300 loaner and the port was able to charge an iPhone. I asked the service advisor if the 2012 USB is also a charging port but he didn't know and is still checking on it...I hope. Thanks
