I think anything in your surrounding area shows up. There are a few different settings so maybe try playing with that.

Check your options. Option bluetooth on and it will cut into your stereo play with the audible alerts. Also, if you use the lock on your phone - option prevent auto-lock in Waze. Also, when you select Menu, a Menu screen pops up. The speaker icon at the top left corner - tap it repeatedly to set your level of audio reports - Off, Alerts Only, On.

So i went up to San Francisco this weekend; took the C250 which has the full driver assistance package including DISTRONIC PLUS. Borrowed my friend's Beltronics X969 (i think thats the model number, not completely sure). I am happy to report that it worked wonderfully, with no K band falses at all from the assistance systems and DISTRONIC in the car. This detector came out in 2009 i believe, so its pretty old. I just plugged it in and it was on highway mode and it worked great. I picked up 3 cops on the way back, alerted me to them with a 1 mile radius. So i think its completely safe to run a detector with the driver assistance package; no need to disable anything, or buy that fancy integration unit for the V1 and K40. I even used the adaptive cruise for the majority of the time and the detector worked great. The C250 is a great car to take for long distances as well .

There is nothing fast about a C Class Mercedes, so why pretend and drive like an a-hole to try and prove your car is something it isn't?
