Annoying white spots caused by Washer Fluid.
I hate using the washer fluid on my c300 because every time it sprays fluid over my roof and door sides-- when this dries it leaves a white spot on my paint. Is there anyway to adjust the washer nozzle so that it only sprays the windshield? Also, does the brand of washer fluid matter, if so then provide me with the brand you use. Thx

I don't use anything in my washer water.
Try that . Pure plain clean water.
Any detergent will tend to remove the protective polish.

Hi, yeah I will just use plain water for the summer but don't think its a good idea to put plain water for the winter. It seems that most c300 owners have this similar problem. My Toyota does a good job not getting washer fluid on the roof of the car. To make matters worse my car is black, so the white spots stand out. The spots come off easily, a damp cloth will remove it but there are times I just leave it till the next wash. Next time I take the car in for service, I will ask the dealer to readjust the washer nozzle.
