Like the front but the rear looks a bit too "sloping" hopefully it wont look to much like the new W222

Where is the picture of the rear? I couldn't fine one.

Not a fan of the front, by the way - looks more busy and not as seamless/integrated as W204.

EXTERIOR: with the sports grille, it looks like a bigger CLA class and with the luxury grille, it looks like a smaller S class. I can't speak for the back because I haven't seen any pictures.

INTERIOR: really digging the interior except the nav screen and maybe the a/c vents. still don't know how I feel about not having the gear stick to hold onto while driving.

I don't know how I feel about making all the cars look somewhat similar. This is a major reason why I like Mercedes over BMW.

P.S. these new vehicles are being produced within the USA....... I don't know about you, but I'm paying for a German car, I expect it to be made in Germany.

um, most of the current US market C classes come from East London, SA...thats not Germany . As long as the standards are maintained, then who cares where its built.

In fact, the SA built C Classes are usually the tops in quality.

our C250 has had no problems so far, other than a TSB for some suspension tightening so that the car wont track to one side or the other. Also the fuse went out for the front ciggarette lighter but thats a common problem so i wont fault the factory for that. I think MBUSA will make sure the Alabama plant is tops in quality for the C class.

There is no possible reason why a Tuscaloosa built W205 should not be to global standards. It all revolves around QC & kicking US suppliers butts into accepting that they are not supplying GM. Early ML's from Tuscaloosa were so bad that SA went to Graz in Austria for supply. Today we take from Tuscaloosa & quality is fine. The only criticism I have is their seeming inability to line up the double stitching on leather seats. Always wrong on the lower squab to a greater or lesser degree.
