Water spots on my black c300
This weekend I drove to my cousins townhome and I parked my c300 in the rear which is located underneath the wooden deck. I left my car undriven for few days as my cousin drove me around in his car since he knew the area well. The past few days it has rained heavily and today when I drove my car I noticed water spots all over my car and windshield, the washer fluid will not remove the spots. Normally rain should leave any water spots, correct? Could it somehow be related to parking under the deck--- maybe the rainwater mixed with some contaminant in the wood and this dripped on my car? Any tips on how to remove the spots
?

Are the spots only on the windshield only and not the paint? I use a foaming glass cleaner called Spray way that I buy at Home Depot and use newspaper on the first pass. I would be surprised if the spots are etched into the glass. I also use several glass cleaning products that I buy from Griots garage, Griotsgarage.com. Good luck

Yeah there are water spots all over the car and just washing the car kinda improved it but its still visible. Yeah I will get the fully detailed including claying and polishing? Does normal detailing include claying or do you have to tell them to do it? Also what is a fair price to get the car fully detailed (washed, clayed, polished) ? I think the dealer charges 200 bucks.

If you want a serious answer, I would hesitate to run straight to clay. That will strip off any wax and sealant coatings you have, which will leave your car unprotected until you reapply a wax or sealant (or both) afterward. And while clay is safe when used correctly, it's only safe when used correctly - very light pressure, plenty of lubricant, after you've already washed the car.
