2008 TPMS troubleshooting
Hello all,
I guess I have a TPMS puck that has a battery starting to go bad. How long do these things work for anyway? I have an '08 so I can't tell which wheel it is myself. But at least one of the pucks is not responding and I am getting the red message on the dash every time I drive it. Pressures are right on the money, checked it several times. I'm sure it's just one of them that needs changing (I think at some point I have already changed two of them due to broken valve stems).
I don't just want to change them all, I'd like to fix the one which is broken. How can I tell?

Plug it into a STAR. Diagnostics data will identify the serial number of the offending TPMS. If you don't know the serial number, it's a simple game of removing each tire to trigger on purpose the code and remembering the time as the diagnostics data has a timestamp associated with the code.
