Sprint Booster
In reality its the same as if you just press faster or more. it in no way increases HP or the actual response timeif you are agressive anyway
It takes the full travel of the accelerator pedal, and compresses it into half or 3/4 of the normal distance (I'm not sure specifically how much).
The car will "feel" faster, because pushing the pedal down 1/4 of the way will be equivalent to pushing it a lot further. The thing is, once you get past that half or 3/4 throttle (whichever it compresses it to) the rest of the travel is 'dead' because you are already at full throttle. So effectively, it gives you less fine control over the throttle.
Others always argue in these threads that they notice some huge difference and it isn't that simple, but a white paper published a few years ago looked into the electronic signals and how the sprint booster alters them - and it proved to do exactly what I've stated. There are plenty of charts and graphs showing it in the paper if you search for it.
If you have 2 identical C300's, one with and one without the SB, and both floor it off the line, you're going to get the same response from both vehicles, same power, and same results.
On that note, I'm running away from this thread like the plague.
